GM’s new president, North America Rory Harvey goes into the role he assumed at the start of June with a unique perspective on the firm’s future EV sales, given his previous two-and-half years in charge of the group’s Cadillac brand. Cadillac has already laid out its strategy to go all-electric by 2030, driven by its status as GM’s luxury brand as, in Harvey’s own words, “luxury is driving EV adoption at the moment”.
